A classic among the cross-country trails is the trail into the wild and romantic Jachenau. Another highlight is the 13 km high-altitude trail in the Engtal valley between steep rock faces. The longest trail in Lenggries is the route via Wegscheid into the Schwarzenbachtal valley. There is also a 1.5 km night trail near the Brauneckbahn valley station.
